Perse
UK energy & building data

Carbon, energy, water and building data for 30 million UK addresses

Connected and modelled to answer your every question.

We match over 35 UK datasets — meters, half-hourly reads, EPCs, building fabric, tariffs, weather, satellite — address by address, then model them into answers you can act on.

Perse holds the legal frameworks that make regulated energy data accessible without a site visit and without chasing tenant consent — for energy suppliers, landlords, lenders and the households in between.

The foundation

Thirty-five datasets, matched to one building

Meter registries, EPCs, building fabric, tariffs, weather and satellite imagery all describe the same building — but they arrive in different shapes, keyed different ways. Matching them address by address is the hard part, and it is the part we own.

On top of the matched record sit our own foundational models, which can be run against every site — either at a site level or across a portfolio of sites, based on your needs.

Why we can do this

The data is regulated. The access is the product.

Perse pioneered landlord legal access to energy consumption data for carbon reporting, and has since extended it to property managers, asset managers, social housing, banks and local authorities.

We help shape the rules for energy data access by working with — the UK government's Smart Data Council, the Perseus working groups, and advisory and change committees across Elexon, RECCo, Ofgem and DESNZ. Privacy is protected by design: occupants and bill payers control sharing through ConsentWallet, opt-in and reversible.

Legal-first

Frameworks tested with the regulator, not terms of service we wrote ourselves.

Half-hourly, not annual

The 48 UK settlement periods run through every product we ship.

Consent you can revoke

Turn anything off and sharing stops immediately. We name who receives data.

Stated confidence

Every modelled figure carries how sure we are and what it was modelled from.

Customer cases

A county estate, reported and prioritised on our data

Run on the matched record and the same models every product calls — to report an estate and rank what to do first.

Customer case
Essex County Council
Optimise — energy & carbon reporting

2,258 properties. Real consumption instead of EPCs — and up to 60% more saving per £1k invested.

Essex County Council needed a 2025 energy and carbon report it could act on, not just file. Optimise reported the whole estate from metered data, sliced it by building characteristics, then assessed solar and heat pump viability property by property.

“The headline finding was clear: using real consumption data to prioritise retrofit activity has the potential to deliver up to 60% greater energy and carbon savings per £1k invested than using EPC data alone.”
